Sometimes I wonder if people truly love the person they claim they do..I've witnessed some people fall in "love" 2 and 3 times within a 6 month period..Now I'm not knocking anyone that falls in love quickly..It can sometimes be real love..But some things you don't truly think about until later...Remember..Hindsight is 20/20.
1. Would u still be there if he stumbled upon hard times? Struggle with him? Help him? Be there? Or run away until he gets it together?
2. Is it possible for you to forgive? Or is it only possible until you get into the next argument?
3. Are you comfortable to be yourself around him?
4. Do you love yourself FIRST? What do you allow him to get away with? How do you allow him to treat you? Yes all of things matter because there's a thin line between love and infatuation. Or even being comfortable or USED to being with a person that you stick around.
5. Do you accept him for what he is? Not what he has the potential to be? Do you allow him to better himself without you trying to shape and form him into what you THINK he should be?
6. Do you support his dreams? Goals?
7. Would you consider being with him until the end of time?
The list goes on and on and on..Sometimes you have to sit back and think how you TRULY feel about a person. You have to come to terms with and love yourself before you can love another person. When you love yourself you won't settle for less than you deserve and try to "fix" them. You won't stand for abuse whether it be physical or mental.
I for one went the majority of my life not loving myself. As a result I dealt with relationships that I wish I could've skipped past. I wasn't treated right, I was cheated on and it pretty much sucked. But when I took the time and began to get to know myself, grow to love myself..I figured out the type of person that I needed in my life. We're the same, but different. We struggle in different ways. We both have issues. But we'll love each other forever.
If you truly LOVE somebody, no matter what happens..Problems..situations..issues..If you truly love someone..You come back..You work it out..You STICK it out..No matter how much your heart hurts..How much you hurt each other..If you truly love him/her..You'll come back..You'll get back..I love u Lemonhead...Although you won't see this..l:-)
